Founded in 1912 by Raymond, the Emonet construction company was already a family business. The four sons of journeyman mason Joseph, Robert, Amédée, Camille and Raymond, laid the foundations of a thriving company in difficult times.
Raymond's four sons, Roland, René, Paul and Armand, founded R. Emonet SA. Until 2008, the company was managed by Paul, a graduate of the Fribourg Technicum.
Members of the 4th generation of masons, Reynald, certified foreman; Michel, site manager for 15 years; Georges, certified construction manager; and Frédéric, holder of a federal master builder diploma, joined the family business in turn.
The three grandsons Reynald, Georges and Frédéric founded the RESA Holding SA group, while Frédéric took over the management of the company.
The fifth generation joined the group in turn, proof that the builder’s spirit lives on in the new generation.
R. Emonet celebrated 100 years in business. Thank you to everyone who contributed to our growth.
The fourth and fifth generations together founded RESA Immo, which now manages all the group’s property developments.
The four second cousins of the 5th generation, Adrien, Pierre, Colin and Mathis, are taking over and carrying on the family building tradition. This year also marks Pierre taking over as head of the company.
More than a century after its founding, R. Emonet SA continues on its way with the same passion for the trade. We will write the next chapters together with you.
The company's strength lies not only in having kept several branches of the family within it for five generations. R. Emonet SA also covers every area of structural work and has its own architecture office.
We can handle a small repair just as well as a multi-million construction project. Our core strengths remain conversion, restoration and villa construction. We love a challenge, without ever betraying the unifying spirit instilled by Raymond: above all, we are a team of builders.
