Innovating in materials is also a matter of common sense

At R. Emonet SA, we build every project with one simple conviction: what we build today shapes the world of tomorrow.

Laying a Capo monolithic brick on an R. Emonet SA site

A family business in French-speaking Switzerland for more than 110 years, we support clients with a comprehensive approach: engineering, planning, site management and, above all, a constant commitment to sustainability.

In keeping with this approach, our choice of materials is never trivial. That is why we have decided to incorporate an innovative, local system into our projects: the Capo monolithic brick, produced by Gasser Ceramic.

Why does this choice make sense?

  1. One brick = one complete wall
It already incorporates insulation (mineral wool or sheep’s wool), for simple, fast laying with no complex additional layers.
  2. Thermal comfort all year round
Thanks to its thermal inertia and natural moisture regulation, it provides a stable indoor climate, summer and winter alike, and meets the Minergie and Minergie P-ECO standards.
  3. A 100% Swiss, sustainable and local material
Made from local raw materials, produced directly at its extraction site, with a reduced CO₂ impact.
  4. Proven results
Already used on more than 200 sites in French-speaking Switzerland, the Capo brick has proven itself in real-world conditions.
